The Symbaloo below provides links to resources that help learners in the classroom. Many of the resources are geared to younger students, but other resources focus on students in middle and high school.

Websites that help students learn to read: Teach Your Monster to Read (early readers), Starfall (early readers thru grade 3, Reading Bear (early readers and helpful for older readers that need review), Help My Kid Learn (early readers up to 12 years old), Walphabet Videos (early readers).
ELL and Early Readers: Unite for Literacy; geared to early readers, the books are available in multiple languages. All are written in English, and are read by native speakers of the languages. Students may hear the books in English and one additional language at a time.
Social-Emotional Learning websites: Social Emotional Websites, We Do Listen, Cool School Game
Videos and Books Read to Learners: StoryBots
Current News Articles: Tween Tribune (also in Spanish), NewsELA, Dogo News - Each news article is available in 4 lexiles.

Fiction and Informational Text: ReadWorks and Digital ReadWorks
Ebooks (wide range of ages, books available to download: Librivox (spoken text), Project Gutenberg (combination of spoken text, and downloadable text)
Children's Stories: Most of these provide books that are read to students - International Children's Library, Mrs. P.com, Storyline Online, Fairy Tales-Storynory, Children's Storybooks Online
Ebooks Available for Classroom Use: GetEpic, Zing
Middle/High School Resources for Reading: Google Lit Trips, StoryShare (this site is geared to middle/high school readers whom are not at grade level, with books that are written with themes that are interesting to the age of the student)
Some Great Science Resources: Wonderopolis (much more than science, and text is read to the students), Wonderville, Ology (from the Smithsonian), University of Illinois Science (many materials are read to students)
